We have been able to make donations to several societies over the past months. To Mazarrón Day Centre, who provide social activities for the disabled and elderly in our area, we donated a shower seat and packs of adult incontinent pants. We have also donated food to the San José Church for their Food Bank.
Last month we made a donation of 2000€ to the charity, Forget Me Not, who provide respite care based in Camposol.
This month we are going to make a donation of 1000€ to The Royal British Legion for their Poppy Appeal.
At our recent meeting we have proposed we approach the local Red Cross with a suggestion that we could supply their beach Lifeguard posts with defibrillators. There was an incident on one of our local beaches during this summer where if a defibrillator had been available a life may have been saved. We will also be making another donation to the Food Bank over the next month. This is a regular donation made to the Church Food Bank every two months throughout the year.

Our van will be at Urbanisation Camposol Sector A Commercial Centre every first Tuesday of the month, for any donations. At other times you can call us on 603 389 006 to collect or alternatively, Alen’s shop on Camposol Sector A has kindly volunteered to accept smaller donated items.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team, so please call on the above number to find out how you can help us help others within the Mazarrón area.
We would like to thank all our supporters for their continued support and all our team of volunteers who give their time and effort to Make a Difference to so many people in our area.
Thank you.
