September is here and we at Rainbow have had a busy summer, not only with TV installations and problems, but also with our sponsored charity “Friends of Mazarrón Animals” (FMA). Animal rescue continues all year but fund raising in the summer heat is always difficult. TV News ....... Internet TV continues to be the only way to watch all UK TV with many channels simply not available on the satellite system any more. With internet TV successful viewing is dependent on two services you will need to rent; the internet and the TV system.
As a general rule you can gauge the quality of both requirements by the price which, so often these days, is the primary factor, but you should also take quality into account for trouble free TV viewing.
Internet companies often try to drive prices down by using ever cheaper routing. Remember your local internet supplier will not be able to get your request to, say, Ryanair in Ireland, without using the national, international and local internet infrastructure. Cheaper internet suppliers will usually have complex lengthy routes often with significant delays. Generally, you will need to pay a bit more for direct fast routing. To book a Ryanair flight or shop on Amazon the cheap slower routes are usually fine but live TV is a totally different demand on the internet; waiting a second for Amazon to respond is acceptable. Waiting a second for live TV (buffering) is not. So, think about quality and not just price. In our experience the national operators (Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Starlink) are the best.
For your TV service supplier of course, we, at Rainbow, would suggest our service. Again, we are not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) but the system is excellent. Try us for a no obligation week free of charge to assess for yourself. The firestick sold on the Sunday market is cheap but problems will arise and will there be a service/back up facility on a Saturday morning just before the football starts? Therefore, for successful UK TV viewing don’t just look at price. Look at the whole package and what you are getting.
