If you own a Spanish vehicle then you may have noticed that your Spanish registration document contains a bit more information than many other European countries‭, ‬but do you know what all the extra information is‭? ‬Here we provide a guide to the letter codes for that you will find on a standard passenger vehicle‭:‬

Whilst this list is by no means exhaustive‭, ‬it covers the main codes that you will come across on a typical Ficha Técnica vehicle registration document‭. ‬The Ficha Técnica also doubles as an ITV card and newer versions now have a guide to the codes in Spanish
